Selling form 1074, Awami League's income is 5.5 million taka

Photo: Collected. One thousand 74 forms were sold in 6 hours (10 am to 4 pm) on the first day of sale of Awami League's party nominations for the National Assembly elections. The income of the party is 5 crore 37 lakh taka.

On Saturday (November 18) at around 10 am, the president officially started the sale of party nomination forms at the central office of Awami League on Bangabandhu Avenue. However, after 11 am, the process of collecting forms was opened for party candidates.

It is known that the highest number of forms were sold in the Dhaka division on the first day of nomination sale. 214 people bought party nomination forms from this section. The second highest form was sold in the Chittagong division. 201 people collected party nomination forms from this section.

Apart from this, 176 people from Rajshahi division, 125 people from Khulna division, 109 people from Rangpur division, 105 people from Mymensingh division, 75 people from Barisal division and 55 leaders from Sylhet division have collected party forms of Awami League. Apart from this, the leaders have bought 14 nomination forms from various departments online.
