Photo: Collected. BNP Standing Committee member Moin Khan said the BNP does politics for the people, not to loot from power like Awami League. I entered politics to serve people. I have told people that I did not come to politics for power.
He said, these things during a discussion meeting organized by BNP on the occasion of former President Ziaur Rahman's 88th birth anniversary at the Engineers Institution auditorium in the capital on Thursday afternoon.
Moin Khan said, we do politics to return people's rights. BNP does not do logi-baitha politics. BNP is a party of decent people. Through peaceful movement, we will overthrow the government of this country with unarmed people and restore democracy. The people of the country have smeared the face of the government by boycotting the vote on January 7.
He said, the struggle of establishing human rights in the world is not easy. We must continue to fight for this. We have balls in our chest. We will defeat all the weapons of the dictatorial government.
BNP Vice Chairman Abdullah Al Noman presided over the meeting. BNP National Standing Committee Member Selima Rahman, National Standing Committee Member Nazrul Islam Khan, BNP Central Committee Vice Chairman Nitai Roy Chowdhury, BNP Chairperson Advisor, and Former Opposition Chief Whip Zainal Abdin Farooq, BNP Vice Chairman Abdul Awal were present as special guests.
