Firoz Rashid and Sunil Shubo were expelled from Jatiya Party

Photo: Collected. Jatiya Party (Japa) co-chairman Kazi Feroze Rashid and presidium member Sunil Shubo Roy have been relieved from all party posts by party chairman GM Quader.

This information was informed in a circular sent by Jatiya Party's joint-office secretary Mahmud Alam on Friday.

According to the notification, Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader has released Kazi Feroze Rashid and Sunil Shubo Roy from all party positions including co-chairman and presidium member posts by virtue of the powers given in the party constitution. Which has already been implemented.

Kazi Feroze Rashid served as deputy minister, state minister and minister in the cabinet of party founder Hussain Muhammad Ershad. He is a former Member of Parliament of Dhaka-6 Constituency.

In this year's 12th National Parliament election, he got the nomination of the party in that seat. However, Firoz Rashid withdrew his nomination as Awami League did not give concession to Japa in Dhaka-6.

And Sunil Shubo Roy served as the Press and Political Secretary of late Hussain Muhammad Ershad.
