He commented that he does not want to see more murders like Felani.

The Home Affairs Advisor gave this instruction while addressing the senior officials of the BGB at the border conference center of the BGB headquarters in Pilkhana of the capital on Saturday morning.

Corruption will not be tolerated under any circumstances, the advisor said. Strict disciplinary action will be taken against those involved in bribery and corruption. If necessary, they will be fired.

He said, BGB has to work according to the law. The Home Affairs Adviser said that the main responsibility of BGB is to protect the border and prevent smuggling. At this time, he urged the BGB to perform their duties with professionalism.

Noting that we do not want to see more killings like Felani, the adviser said, do not show your back at the border. Fulfill your responsibilities.

BGB Director General Major General Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui along with senior officials of BGB headquarters and all BGB Region Commanders, Sector Commanders, Battalion Commanders and other officials were present through video teleconference (VTC).
