At this time Dr. Yunus inquired about the medical conditions of those undergoing treatment at the hospital who were seriously injured in firing by the security forces during the July-August student-led uprising.
At least 11 seriously injured including 8 university and college students are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
At that time, the director of the hospital, Kazi Din Mohammad, said that he (Yunus) saw the condition of four students under treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU) of the hospital.
The director of the hospital also said that all four were shot in the head. Their condition is improving.
Senior doctors of the hospital including Badrul Alam, joint director of the institute were present at this time.
