Five journalists killed in Israeli strikes in Gaza

Five journalists were killed in Israeli strikes in the besieged Palestinian territory of Gaza. Anas al-Sharif, the Gaza correspondent for Qatar-based international media outlet Al Jazeera, reported this on Thursday.

He said that all the journalists killed were employees of the local Al-Quds Today channel. They were on duty near Al-Awda Hospital in the Nusairat refugee camp in central Gaza. While on duty, the Israeli army launched an airstrike targeting their vehicle, killing all of them on the spot.

The dead were Fadi Hasuna, Ibrahim al-Sheikh Khalil, Muhammad al-Lada, Faisal Abu al-Kumsan and Ayman al-Zadi.

The number of journalists killed in Israeli strikes in Gaza has reached 201, according to the Gaza Media Office.

20 people were killed in Israeli strikes in various parts of Gaza from dawn to 11 a.m. local time on Thursday.
