In this regard Dinajpur District Primary Education Officer. Nazrul Islam said that since the temperature is below 10 degrees Celsius, teaching activities of all primary schools have been closed. However, while all schools have been closed, other official activities have continued.

On the other hand, Dinajpur District Education Officer. Rafiqul Islam said that no decision has been taken to close secondary level schools since 10 am on Monday due to rising temperature. However, he said that a decision will be taken after the meeting.

Dinajpur Meteorological Office Officer Md. Asaduzzaman said that the minimum temperature was recorded at 9.00 on Monday morning at 8.1 degrees Celsius. At that time the air humidity was 88 percent. Wind speed 2 knots. This was the lowest temperature in the country. Temperatures are likely to drop further. According to the weather office, the severity of winter will increase.
