New date announcement for primary assistant teacher recruitment exam

Photo: Collected. The new date for the Primary Assistant Teacher Recruitment Exam has been announced. According to the new announcement, the recruitment test for the first phase of the post of assistant teachers in government primary schools (Rangpur, Barisal and Sylhet divisions) will be held on December 8. This decision was taken in an inter-ministerial meeting at the Secretariat on Tuesday (November 21). State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Zakir Hossain, Secretary Farid Ahmed, Director General of Directorate of Primary Education Shah Rezwan Hayat were present in the meeting.

Mahbubur Rahman Tuhin, senior information officer of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, confirmed this information and said that on December 8, the written test will be held in 535 centers of 18 districts of Rangpur, Barisal and Sylhet divisions. This exam will last for one hour from 10 am to 11 am. In the first phase, 3 lakh 60 thousand 697 job aspirants of three categories applied for the examination.

It is to be noted that the written examination of the first phase was scheduled to be held on November 24. It was announced on November 8 that the exam will be held on December 1. A new date has been announced today. This is the first time that the application and recruitment examination is being conducted by the department. Notification has been published in three stages for this batch-based recruitment. Examination will also be conducted separately.
