He said these things in front of the National Press Club on Saturday at the public signature program organized by the initiative of Nagarik Oikya.
Junaid Saki said that the 7th election is a family election. They (Government) said, the election of this share of road will be fair. But the election was not fair. There was a fight, a conflict. The polling grounds were barren land, we did not see the lines of people. So where did this 41 percent come from? Those who say, we got 1 to 1.5 million votes, why don't they show us the video footage of their polling station? The main fact is that they (Awami League) have sealed the ballot in their own way to make this 2-3 percent vote appear higher.
This leader, who is one of the top leaders of the Democracy stage, said that the Prime Minister has said that there has not been such a fair election as on the 7th. It will be written in gold letters. It will be decided by the people in which letters will be written.
Mahmudur Rahman Manna, President of Nagorika Oikya, said that our public signature program will continue. Until we come to an understanding with this dictatorial government, we will go to the people. This public signature is a means of reaching people.
He also said that the current government is on the side of those who are looting. This government is not the people's government. This government was not elected by the people's vote. This government does not care about people's lives. It has been a total of 2 weeks since the Fortwenty elections on the 7th till today, but the price of any commodity has not decreased in the country.
General Secretary of Revolutionary Workers Party Saiful Haque, Chief Coordinator of State Reform Movement Advocate Hasnat Qayyum, and others were also present in the public signature program.
