Primary teaching has been stopped in three districts due to winter

Kurigram, Panchagarh and Dinajpur have been experiencing continuous cold for 10 days. The minimum temperature is fluctuating between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius. The Ministry of Education allows schools to be closed if the temperature falls below 10 degrees Celsius. In view of this, the primary education officials of the three districts have taken this decision.

Dinajpur recorded the minimum temperature of 8 degrees Celsius at 6 am and 9 am today on Thursday. It is the lowest temperature in the entire country. There has been some relief in people's life due to the sighting of the sun since morning. But the sun does not have much heat. In this regard, District Primary Education Officer Nazrul Islam said, "The school has been kept open. Teachers will go to school. However, it has been announced that classes will be suspended until the weather becomes normal.

Assistant District Primary Education Officer of Panchagarh. Saifuzzaman said that the lowest temperature recorded in the district was 8.7 degrees Celsius at 9 am on Thursday. In this situation, a letter has been given to the concerned that only the class teaching activities of all the primary schools of the district will be closed.

Kurigram district education officer Shamsul Alam said, "If the temperature rises by 10 degrees Celsius or more, we will decide to reopen the educational institutions."
