I will not allow a single party to become a dictatorship: Noor

Central president of Gana Odhikar Parishad and former VP of Daksu Nurul Haque Noor commented that no party will be allowed to become a dictatorship.

He said that no party should be able to monopolize the parliament, so we are demanding proportional elections. In effecting the future parliament, each political party would be represented in proportion to the number of votes it received, to value every vote of the people. We have seen in the last 50 years what happens when a single group comes to power.

Noor said these things in the speech of the chief guest on behalf of the District People's Rights Council at the Jhautla Central Shaheed Minar premises of Patuakhali on Friday afternoon.

VP Noor said, it is clear that if BNP elects the national government with those who have protested for 15 years, there will be reconciliation with them. Otherwise, BNP will be elected as an alternative alliance, with alternative energy alone.

He said to the party's leaders and workers that the People's Rights Council will field 300 candidates in the next election. Everyone will be between 30, 40 and 50 years old. Because the youth needs to be organized to build a digital and smart Bangladesh in the future. Those who will elect MPs, municipalities and upazilas must go to the people and present themselves to the people.

Complaining about the harassment of the leaders and activists of the People's Rights Council, VP Noor said, "You can think today, we have protested, we have been freed by struggle, but today I will come to my district, a barrier is created at that place." It has been forbidden to bring the procession. Cases have been filed and posters have been torn down in the name of my party's leaders and workers.

He also said, my aunt lives in Laukathi. Their union leaders are threatening and harassing them. Addressing the BNP leaders and activists, Noor said that when your top leaders talk to us, they behave politely, take time to meet, and you behave here like the old shoe league and socks league. I request the joint forces to discipline you.

Meanwhile, Nurul Haque Noor strongly criticized BNP and said, "We had 50 parties simultaneously protesting the downfall of dictatorship." But unfortunately, we can see the change in the face of BNP leaders and workers as soon as they come to power. Awami fascist activities have emerged. If BNP fails to realize, the neo-mafia, occupying, looting dacoits will be resisted in the same way as the Awami fascist-mafia-occupational-looter-dictator government was overthrown in the mass uprising of the students.

Syed Nazrul Islam Litu, District Shakhar Convener of the organization also spoke on the occasion and central leaders, agriculturist Shahidul Islam Fahim, Hasan Al Mamun, Rabiul Hasan, Shahidul Islam Shah Alam Shikdar, Nahid Hasan, Rafiqul Islam, Anisur Rahman Munna, Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman, Helena Akhter, HM Elias, Md. Kamal Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman and Shahidul Islam Sumon etc.
