After winning the SAFF Championship title for the second time in a row, the women's footballers are on vacation. The national women's team camp will begin after returning from vacation in the new year. Bangladesh has the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers in June-July. Keeping this qualifiers in mind, the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) wants to organize a friendly match for the women. For this, Bangladesh contacted Saudi Arabia. But there was no response.
There is a FIFA window in February, March, April and May. Bangladesh wanted to play against the Middle Eastern country during this time. But Saudi Arabia directly said 'no' to BFF. However, Bangladesh is now looking at Malaysia and Singapore.
Letters have already been sent to the Malaysia and Singapore Football Federations. We are waiting for a response from these two countries. If someone from either country agrees, the women's friendly match can be held in Dhaka or Sylhet. The country's football governing body is trying to utilize the FIFA window.
