Draft of BCB Standing Committee finalized

Nazmul Hasan Papon was absent from BCB after the July-August revolution. So Faruk took over as the new president to run BCB. Like Papon, most BCB directors left the country due to political reasons.

BCB is now running with only 10 directors. After Faruk Ahmed took over, no new standing committee was formed. After a long 5 months, the draft of the new standing committee has been finalized.

In the draft, no one was placed in the working committee, medical committee, media committee and physically challenged committee. BCB president Faruk Ahmed has taken over the responsibility of the disciplinary and marketing committee. Akram Khan has been removed from the physically challenged committee and given the responsibility of the facilities department.

And Nazmul Abedin Fahim may get the responsibility of cricket operations and women's department. The responsibilities of the grounds, umpiring, CCDM, tender committee may remain unchanged. Saiful Alam Chowdhury Swapan may be given the responsibility of the tournament committee.

Fahim Sinha may be given the responsibility of the game development and logistics department along with the finance committee. The appointed vice chairmen will serve in the committees where no director will be appointed as the chairman.

Khaled Masud Pilot may be appointed as the vice chairman of the cricket operations department and Debabrata Pal may be the vice chairman of HP. Apart from this, former cricketers like Javed Omar Belim and Sanwar Hossain may be in the standing committee.
