People rejected this election: Khilafat Majlis

Photo: Collected. Naib of Khilafat Majlis, Amir Shaikhul Hadis Maulana Ahmad Ali Qasemi commented that the people rejected the 12th parliamentary elections. He said, "This election was not a good election. The people do not accept this election, the people rejected this election. The people do not accept the cabinet of 26 members.

He said these things in a protest rally organized at the north gate of National Mosque Baitul Mukarram on Friday. Ahmed Ali Qasemi said, "The people do not want to see the government elected in this election for five years or even five days." The government should resign immediately and hand over power to the people. We have to be in the field to establish people's elections. We will not leave the streets until the people's election is established.

Secretary General of Khilafat Majlis also spoke at the meeting. Ahmad Abdul Quader, Joint Secretary General Prof. Mohammad Abdul Jalil, Organizing Secretary. Mizanur Rahman, Central Publication and Training Editor Professor Kazi Minhajul Alam, Dhaka Metropolitan North President Saifuddin Ahmad Khandkar, Dhaka Metropolitan South President Professor Maulana Azizul Haque and others.
