People's Rights Council President Nurul Haque Noor said that this government will be given time to reform the state. But it should be remembered that no situation like one-eleven should be created. It will be the responsibility of this government to bring Sheikh Hasina back to the country and prosecute her as soon as possible. Sheikh Hasina will have to face trial within the next 6 months for the genocide that Awami League carried out in July and August.
Noor said these words in a protest rally organized by the People's Rights Parishad Dhaka Metropolitan to demand the hanging of those involved in the massacre, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, and the banning of Awami League politics. This program was celebrated at Kakrail Junction on Friday afternoon. At the end of the protest rally, the people's rights activists took out a procession. The procession took a turn at Nightingale Junction and ended at Vijayanagar Pani Tank Junction.
Noor also said in the rally, "The same way this government has returned the registration of Jamaat, Awami League should be banned in the judicial process." Chhatra League and Jubo League should be banned as terrorist organizations, this demand should be raised internationally. If Awami League's MP-ministers are arrested and remanded, thousands of illegal money will be found.
He said, 'Awami League has black money, Awami League is spreading this black money to destabilize the country. Corrupt officers and corrupt bureaucrats like Aziz-Benazir should be arrested. Accounts of all MP-ministers including them should be seized. Corrupt robber MP-ministers and corrupt bureaucrats should be arrested.
Noor said, "We had previously demanded an international investigation into all the extrajudicial killings that took place during the Awami League government. Now, the UN representative has come to them to give an impartial report on the disappearances and murders." The People's Rights Council held a day-long delegation meeting with the presidents and general secretaries of the parties and organizations of the districts and cities across the country at the Engineers Institution.
